National Geographic | Rosalba Berardi Photography

I can not be more excited to share with you that one of my images was selected and published by the Photo Editors of National Geographic.  (April 13, 2010 ) When I was a young child I was transfixed by the powerful imagery in this magazine and to have one of my images selected is certainly a dream come true! The image that was selected is one of my all time favorites of my son looking into his fish tank with his eyes glued to the tank.  He had no idea I was taking the photo. It was a quick moment in his childhood that I just had to capture.

A special Thank You goes out to the Editors of National Geographic.

What a great way to end 2010 with two of my images selected and published by Kodak and National Geographic.  A true honor indeed.

Sheltered in a golden coating;
O'er the dreamy, listless haze,
White and dainty cloudlets floating;
Winking at the blushing trees,
And the sombre, furrowed fallow;

Of the southward flying swallow

Wow, It's been one busy Fall!! Thank You Mother Nature for giving us a full Fall season with the most amazing colored leaves I have seen in a long time.  Weather was for sure on our side during this amazing family photo session! All I can say it was a Glorious Day!! Three children 3 years and under and these 3 smiles will be sure to steal your hearts!! A big Double 1st. Happy Birthday to the adorable twins!! and a big high five to their amazing big brother!!

I had the pleasure taking this beautiful mother's maternity photo's and photographed their darling daughter. You can check them out here. At last I finally got to meet their little guy. Isn't he adorable! This family has so much to celebrate a new baby, a 2nd. birthday and a new home. We planned this family photo session out perfectly. Did you know that 2% of Americans have red hair... Interesting fact. Their is just something about Red Heads that just makes me smile and these two cutie pies are absolutely adorable. As we approached September 11th. I would like to share with you images that I captured this summer in NY. I came across these memorial tiles and I stopped to read each and every tile. I was moved by all of the touching messages left on these tiles. I can not imagine.....

 This North Shore beach photo session was simply divine! These 5 year old twins could not get enough of the water, sandy hands and digging for treasures. I truly enjoyed capturing these beautiful moments of these cutie pies. I am amazed how much they have grown. Have a great time on your first day of Kindergarten sweet children.

I love summer time family photo sessions. I get to run around with the most amazing children and families. What more can I say about this fun loving family!! They are wonderful!!
